A/N: Read This First! I just wanted to make a note that the first two chapters are kinda boring (And oh so very RaNdOm -).They really have nothig to do with the actual plot, and I apologize for that, I wrote those before I actually had a real story line for it ' eh heh...yeah...The real story starts in chapter three. This fanfic is pretty popular on my website and on DeviantART, so I hope it is here too! Oh, and Please please please, reveiw! They are what keep me going, so anything you say I would greatly appreciate! (Eh, Please go easy with the critisism though, remember, it's still my first fanfic.) Anyways, Thanks so much for reading though! Oh, and even though there are really 5 OCs in this story, but two of them are wolves...so yeah...you'll learn to love 'em. Trust me, kk?-
Time placement: Shippuuden, Whenever the Anime/Manga takes place. Sasuke never went with Oro -

The Untold Story: All or Nothing
CHAPTER ONE: Red Eyes Under A Full Moon
The Sound of Kunai Clashing In mid air were the only sounds on that cold, windy night. The full moon was high and things were looking bad for Kumogakure...really, really bad. After the country's harsh and imprudent betrayal of the peace treaty, Konoha Ninjas took down all of their defenses and were breaching into the Raikage’s building, killing everyone who had any relation to the royal family. A wolf's howl peirced through the air. Startling to some, a strange beacon of releif to others. Miles away, a battered-looking woman desperately fled from her doomed homeland. She stopped to catch her breath, but almost immediately collapsed, with a katana stuck-fast deep in her back, killing her. A baby rolled from her limp arms, impeding next to a slow river. The once crystal-clear water now dyed bright red in blood. A bloody creature pawed and sniffed at the child, and her wool blanket unraveled. Revealing traces of brilliant violet hair, two capped daggers and...a silver flute. Startled, the infant slowly opened her deep blue eyes, looking directly into the white creature's cerulean ones, and began to whimper as the soft moonlight shone off the sparkling stream. The trivial sound caught the attention of her mothers’ assassin and the adversary abruptly turned towards the helpless being, glaring at it with it’s unique blood red and black eyes. The startled white beast disapeared in a blur. The enemy approached the child, gently picking her up and fled, calling back her subordinates.
-----
“Sasuke-Kun!!!...” A voice called from the outside. The 15 year old Uchiha, startled with the sudden outburst, glanced out the window to his room. He stared as a Kunoichi, the same age as he, ran past the prestigious Uchiha manor entrance. Her long brilliant Violet hair trailed behind her in a ponytail.
“Oi, Kotori-Chan,” the slate-haired boy continued, “I advise you get in here and eat your breakfast before it gets cold… I refuse to make you another entire bowl and I’m not sharing!” Now giggling, she stuck out her tongue at him and hurried inside the estate.
“Geez Sasuke… ” She teased. “You’re so evil…” Coming down the stairs, he sarcastically smirked and joined her at the table.
“So…..What’s your excuse for being out all night this time!?” Taken aback, Kotori’s deep blue eyes met his, but soon fell down to the bowl of Miso soup in front of her. Sasuke just crossed his arms and stared. Even when Sasuke was relaxed…there was something about his eyes that seemed to pierce right through you.
“Ah…I’m sorry, I was just training again….I know you hate it when I stay out all night, but-” Her eyes wandered around the room “Um, By the way, We’re supposed to get a B-rank mission today you know.” She cautiously looked back up at him.
“Oh yeah?” Sasuke now had one eyebrow raised.
‘Yes…Changed the subject!’ Kotori calmly smiled and continued.
“That’s right, I still need to have everything packed but Tsunade said we’d be getting a notice about it today…” As if on cue, a hawk flew in through the door that Kotori left open for this very purpose. The bird landed on Sasuke’s outstretched arm and began to preen herself as he untied the note from its leg and skimmed over it.
---
Meanwhile, At the Ichiraku; Naruto Uzumaki, accompanied by his best friend Shizu Izumi, were preparing to “feast” on Ramen. The two happily folded their hands and exclaimed, “Itadakimasu!” Smiling at each other, they started digging into the famous recipe. Several moments later,
“Hey Shizu, N-naruto-Kun!” Hinata Hyuga walked into the stand. Neji Hyuga soon entered after her and took a seat beside them. Shizu was delighted.
“Hey guys!” The Kunoichi offered to buy them each a bowl of what they called ‘breakfast’. “What brings you two here?” In response, Neji’s pale eyes calmly met hers.
“Hiashi-san told us to take a break from sparring; Hinata suggested we come here to see if Naruto was around…” Hinata Immediately looked down and turned bright red. Everyone laughed except Naruto, who was sitting there with a very confused look on his face.
It was a little over an hour before the four of them had finished chatting, and were all on their way out.
-----
Back at the manor, Sasuke’s jet black eyes widened as he read the wrinkled note.
“Hmph, Looks like Tsunade wants us in her office ASAP.” He muttered and sighed. While the Uchiha grabbed his sword and hung it on his back, Kotori frantically stuffed various items in her pack. The two rushed out the door and headed straight for the Konoha mission building. Unfortunately for them, it wasn’t long before they were stopped.
“Kotori-Chaaaaaaaan!!!” A familiar voice called out as Naruto Ran towards the hasty pair with a huge grin on his face. Closely followed by the dirty-blonde haired Shizu.
“Ohayo Kotori-Chan, Sasuke-San!” Neji shouted as he and his cousin disappeared down the alley to leading to the Hyuga estate. The four of them waved back and continued their business.
“Hey guys!” Kotori grinned as her and Sasuke continued down the main road. Walking alongside them, Shizu too, smiled as Naruto turned to Sasuke.
“So…what brings you two out here so early in the morning?” Naruto eagerly waited for a reply. All the while, he had Kotori in a ‘welcoming’ headlock and was giving her a noogie. Seeing this, Sasuke glared back at him warningly, and then rolled his eyes.
“For your information, we are on our way to Tsunade’s office to get the info for our new B-Rank mission…Baka.” Naruto pointed a fist at Sasuke in the most threatening manner As Kotori stood up straightening her hair. Naruto was pissed. Mostly because he was sick of the Uchiha calling him an idiot twenty-four-seven.
“Oh really…?” The blonde glared back at the slate-haired teen, who now had his arms crossed. “It wouldn’t happen to be the same B-rank Shizu and I were about to head to? You know, before we ran into you?” Sasuke’s eyes widened as he abruptly turned towards his rival. And…upon hearing the “Bad news”, slapped his hand to his forehead and slid it down his face.
“……Great…just kill me now……ugh, Dammit Tsunade!” Hearing this, Shizu turned to him, troubled.
“C’mon, don’t say things like that Sasuke-San. Naruto’s not that bad…”
peeking through his fingers, he just glared back at her.
“…I beg to differ…” he muttered in retort. By now the four were merely 10 feet from the missions building. Naruto looked at the huge “Fire” character on the front of it.
Ignoring the obstinate-minded Uchiha, Shizu focused her attention on her best gal-pal, Kotori, Who was still staring at the boys. “So…How’s crabby’s training going?” She pointed her thumb at Sasuke, Who in-turn, was also ignoring her.
The blue-eyed Kunoichi turned around to her. “Hmm? Sasuke?” Shizu quietly nodded. “… Oh! he’s doing great…” She smiled at the inquisitive Kunoichi. “I haven’t been able to watch him train lately though. Says he wants to be alone. But he has told me he’s got a new Jutsu, and that he’s just waiting to show me on the next mission we’re on.” Shizu looked interested and her eyes suddenly widened.
“Ooh, maybe that means we can see him in action today!” She looked even more exited, putting her arm around her friend. “Anyways…What have you been up to? You know, Jutsu-wise?” Surprised, Kotori looked up.
“Erm…I really don’t have anything new. Um, I have been practicing my Wind flute attacks though.”
“Really? I don’t really have anything new either… It’s just kinda been slow lately.” Shizu muttered as the four arrived in Tsunade’s office.
“Sasuke Uchiha, Kotori Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki, Shizu Izumi!” Tsunade was shouting, as usual. “I need you four to investigate the area around Orochimaru’s Eastern hideout…We think he’s up to something that has to do with experimenting on humans again, but its still to dangerous to actually infiltrate yet.”
The quartet was staring at her blankly. She stood up and slammed her hands on the desk, “Ugh…ok, All you need to do is find some information on his goal and if you can, get some samples of potions he may be using…and the kind of people he’s got hired for him too. Knowing Orochimaru, you’ll most likely get ambushed by some mutant on the way there. So make sure you keep your guard up continually.” The 50-year old sat back down in her seat and rest her legs on top of the desk. “Sasuke… your team leader……oh, Also…” She rustled through a drawer and removed a folded paper from her desk, handing it to Kotori. “…Use this to get there.” The Kunoichi vigilantly opened the parchment, it was a map. Tsunade took a sip of Sake and looked back up at the four of them, “That is all, you are dismissed!” She exclaimed and shooed them out of the office. The four trudged out without a sound…and surprisingly, Naruto didn’t complain about his mission for once. Instead, he was sporting a big smile.
“Yoshi! Finally an exiting mission!! I’ll definitely beat you this time, Sasuke-teme!” They were both glaring at each other as the friends entered the deep forest pathway. Sasuke crossed his arms and turned his head away from the blonde.
“Keep dreaming…Baka!” He shouted in reply, Naruto looked furious. Sasuke put his head down, “…Aitsu…” He muttered under his breath.
“N-nani!?” Naruto shouted “what did you just say Sasuke!”
Rolling her eyes, Shizu wasn’t impressed at their immaturity,
“Ugh…looks like they’re at it again…” She muttered. The two girls stuck together and kept their distance until the self-indulgent boys calmed down. They kept walking until they hit a side-path. Kotori turned onto it. Sasuke stopped and looked at her.
“Uh…Where are you going!?” He asked.
“Tsunade wanted us to take this shortcut. She said it’ll cut our time in half getting there.”
“Well, I won’t argue with that!” Shizu called out, and she ran down the path behind her friend.
