Kotori had just woken up from a short night of sleep and was peering into a cabinet, looking for breakfast.
“KOTORI!” The sleep-deprived Kunoichi jumped at the sudden loud voice coming from behind her. She abruptly turned around to a very freaked out Uchiha Sasuke, who was throwing the front door open. She stood there, wide eyed as her sibling slammed his daggers on the counter and fought to catch his breath.
“Eh…S-Sasuke?” Kotori blinked, abruptly realizing just who burst into her kitchen. “Wait…SASUKE?! Where the hell were you?! Do you realize how worried I was? I’ve had about three hours of sleep, Uchiha Sasuke…THREE HOURS.”
The boy was taken aback by her outburst, leaning away and looking at his friend with one eyebrow raised. “Kotori-Chan…I…I…” He hesitated, realizing that he’s not supposed to tell anyone his ‘secret’. “I um, just lost track of the time...you know how it can get with training and all-” Kotori stood silently, glaring at him with narrow, skeptic eyes. “C’mon Kotori…it’s not like you’ve never done this before.”
“Hmpf…fine whatever…Just try not to do it again, I really was worried about you.” She smiled and turned back to assembling her breakfast, pulling out bowls, glasses and a box of cereal. She poured herself and Sasuke a bowl of Cheerios when the boy realized what he wanted to say.
“Wh-where did you get these daggers?!!” He blurted. The Kunoichi looked up at him, blinking.
“Um…Sasuke, you’re acting kinda weird. D-did you get enough sleep?” The raven-haired teen stared at her intently.
“Kotori, where did you get these daggers.” He repeated. Kotori’s eyes widened.
“Sasuke, go upstairs and get some sleep. Whatever happened to you, which freaked you out so bad was probably a dream……o-or a hallucination.” In response, Sasuke thought for a moment and held his head.
“Y-you’re right. I-it was probably a dream.” He muttered, turning to ascend the steps leading to the bed rooms. Kotori quietly nodded in agreement as he trudged away. “But still-” He stared at his talisman, murmuring to himself.
“W-wait! What about your breakfast?!” Kotori sighed, staring at the two bowls of cereal in front of her.

Sasuke awoke several hours later to a loud knocking. “Grmm…mmm…w-wha?” he mumbled. Stumbling out of his bed, he trudged to the front door, swinging it open. “Eh…H-hello?” He blinked at the figure standing before him. A girl, which looked to be about his age, smiled At the boy. Upon further observation, he noticed she was garbed in a grey and white kimono. Her snow white hair blew gently in the wind and her eyes were a brilliant cerulean…which were looking directly into our sleepy Uchiha’s jet-black ones.
“Oh, um I’m sorry. Did I wake you?” The girl tilt her head at him. The still half-asleep Sasuke unconsciously nodded in response. “Er…I-I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful Onigiri.” She grinned again and held out her hand. “I’m the new girl, Akiyo Hikari. Pleased to meet you…eh…um-”
“Uchiha Sasuke.” A sopping wet Kotori exclaimed, peeking out from behind Sasuke’s shoulder. Surprised, the boy turned around and stared blankly at the Kunoichi.
“Eh, Kotori…why are you-” He pointed a finger at her. Ignoring him, the girl took Hikari’s hand and shook it, smiling.
“Hi!” she said “Um, sorry I’m a little wet.”
“A little?!” The Uchiha muttered. Kotori turned to him and stuck her tongue out.
“Sasuke, be quiet.” The violet haired teen turned back to the new girl. “Yeah…I just got out of the shower…But um, you’re welcome for the food. It was no problem!” She laughed. “Aeolus Chiyo, at your service!”
“W-wait-” Hikari’s eyes widened. “C-Chiyo….Aeolus?” Kotori furrowed her brows.
“Yeah…Is there a problem?” Sasuke asked.
“You…Your the-” Hikari looked slightly troubled. Kotori and Sasuke both had one eyebrow raised; they couldn’t understand what she was muttering to herself. The snowy-haired teen shook her head. “N-never mind…”
“Ehm…you can just call me Kotori, k?”
“Heh, ok.” Kotori turned back to Sasuke.
“Ah, and as I mentioned earlier, this is Uchiha Sasuke…I guess you could call him my half-brother.”
“C’mon Kotori…Lets get going. The earlier we start the better.” In response, Kotori turned to the slate-eyed boy beside her, and then back to Hikari.
“H-hey, do you want to come hang out with us today? We’re just gonna spar some, and then hang out at the big oak tree.” Sasuke rolled his eyes. He didn’t like the idea, but decided not to say anything.
“Ok! Sounds fun!”
“Alright then. But first…Sasuke, you need to get your ass in the shower, you smell like a stray dog!”
Sasuke’s eyes widened in retort. “Tsh, whatever..." He muttered to himself. 'ya think I can help that?' He stomped up the stairs, seeing Hikari giggle out of the corner of his eye.

“Ok, now it’s Sasuke versus Hikari-” The two were staring each other down at opposite ends of the training grounds. Kotori was giving commands from the big oak tree. “Go!” She shouted.
Sasuke immediately darted towards the Kunoichi. Unfazed, Hikari leapt through several branches, stopping at the top of a tree and sat, staring straight down at the Uchiha.
‘Dammit! Is she mocking me?’ Sasuke growled. Kotori abruptly stood up and shouted to him.
“Sasuke! Behind you! That one’s a-”
“Wha?” The boy whipped around
BAM!
“-Clone…” Kotori slapped her hand to her forehead.
The 16-year old flew backwards, skidding on the ground. He stood up, holding his face. “Ow…” He uttered. Hikari stood a few feet in front of him, smirking and cracking her knuckles.
“Geez, you got a hard head, boy.” She added, shaking her hand, which was turning slightly red. The Uchiha’s head shot up.
“What did you just say?”
Kotori started cracking up, almost falling off the branch. “Heh, I haven’t seen Sasuke this fumed in a while!” Hikari continued grinning and Sasuke glared at her. They both were now at the opposite sides of the field from which they started.
“You are so gonna die…” He said through his teeth. Hikari raised an eyebrow.
“Go for it.” She replied, still smirking. Sasuke took off towards her, making hand signs.
“CHIDORI!”
“Aw, CRIPES!” Hikari bent down and made a series of hand signs as fast as she could. “Awai Kyuu no Jutsu!” A ball of light gathered in her hands. Sasuke was getting closer and closer, a sweat bead ran down her face and the ball of energy gradually got larger. That is, until the sun was covered by several storm clouds. Try as she may to keep it going, her jutsu quickly dwindled down to nothing. Sasuke lunged at her with a full out angry assault. Thinking quick, the Kunoichi ducked and Sasuke missed his target, flying over her head and landing in…you guessed it…the lake.
“WHAT-THE-HELL?!” He barked. Kotori leapt down from the tree and ran too him, helping him out of the water and pounding fists with Hikari.
“Nice.” She said, laughing."Sasuke got his ass handed to him!" Standing behind her, Sasuke ran his fingers through his hair and sighed.
