After what seemed like forever, Sasuke finally caught sight of their camp as the sun began to rise. He was expecting to see everyone there…including Hikari. Yet, it was strangely quiet...Even eerie. “Eh…Hello?!” He muttered, carefully setting foot…eh, paw…in the silent clearing. Sniffing around, the Uchiha looked for any trace of scent from one of his comrades. He only found slight traces from Kotori and the others…Faded as if they left here a while ago…Nothing of Hikari. ‘She hasn’t been here since we left last night…’ He thought. ‘W-what if-’
BUMP
“WAAGH!” The Uchiha Jumped straight up and froze. Something had backed into him…Slowly, he cautiously turned his head behind him expecting it to be Itachi if anyone...
“SZAUSKUIKE?!”
“……”
“……”
“Excuse me?”
“……”
“……”
“Eh…What?!”
“Stop copying me!”
“H-hey!”
The confused pair were both shouting to each other at the exact same time.
“What th-” The Uchiha stared, an eyebrow raised and the creature before him.
“I THOUGHT YOU LIKE…D-DIED!” It exclaimed.
“…Did you just cut me off-?” Sasuke muttered.
“ARE YOU OK?!”
“H-hey!” The beast leaped on Sasuke and both wolves went tumbling to the ground. “Z-Zuki…What the hell are you doing here?”
“Eh…T-that’s not really important right now…But you’re alive…that’s good… really good.” She grinned, rubbing her head on his like a purring cat.
“Um…D-do you know were everyone is?! I’m kinda freakin’ out here…” The boy replied, kindly pushing her off. She blinked and sat next to him.
“Hold on…” Zuki mumbled quietly, and closed her crystal-blue eyes. She sat completely still and silent. Sasuke watched her, intrigued. “GET DOWN!” She shouted out of nowhere, jumping on top of Sasuke, eyes flashing bright glowing yellow. An incoming kunai was abruptly stopped and flung back from which it came into the forest. “It’s your friends…” She whispered in his ear. “We’ve got to get out of here, they’re probably mistaking us for enemies…they can’t see you like this…not yet…”
“B-but-” As much as Sasuke wanted to see everyone again…except maybe Naruto… He knew as well as Zuki that he had to keep Tantou a secret…quietly running after her white figure into the woods at the opposite end of the campsite.

“Wh-where’d they go?!” Naruto ran onto the camp frantically looking around.
“Naruto……” Kotori uttered, knocking him in the head. “…You’re psycho…stop it.” Shizu followed her out of the woods, a hand smacked to her forehead.
“B-but I saw them!” The blonde waved his hands around the place where Zuki and Sasuke just were. “They were there!” He pointed. “Right there! Wolves! And they were TALKING!”
“…Talking…” Kotori crossed her arms. “…and what exactly did they say…?” She said sarcastically.
“Well…I couldn’t understand what they were saying…but it sounded human…I swear, I’m not crazy Kotori-Chan!” He pleaded.
“Naruto, wolves…don’t talk…they don’t even live in this area anymore…they’re extinct in our entire continent and have been for over eighty years!”
“I wonder where Sasuke and Hikari are though…I’m really stating to get worried…we’ve been looking for them for hours!” Shizu sat on the ground, crossing her outstretched legs and leaning back, sighing loudly.
----------
“Weird voices huh?” The two wolves were walking beside each other. Sasuke was still bothered by the voices he’d been hearing from nowhere…that no one else could hear but him. “And it was telling you to slaughter Naruto?” Sasuke slowly nodded.
“Yeah…It’s been bothering me since it happened. I mean, I’m not that fond of the guy…even though he’s technically my best friend. I’m not one to get that close to people… Well, besides Kotori, but she’s pretty much my sister.” He muttered. “But, I would never think to kill him…never. Especially over something stupid like that.” Zuki tilted her head at him as they stopped at a river. The sun was intensely bright and hot that day and the water was crystal clear, as you could see several feet down at the deep places. The white wolf suddenly pounced into the water, making a huge splash that ended up getting Sasuke soaking wet. Surprised, the boy shook the liquid off his fur and stared blankly at her. She lifted her head and trotted out of the stream, a huge squirming salmon in her mouth. The Uchiha’s jaw dropped as she dropped it in front of him.
“Breakfast, anyone?” She giggled, turning back around to catch another.
“Y-you mean his whole thing is mine?” Sasuke stuttered looking at it.
“Well…yeah” She retorted. “I’m good at catching fish, don’t worry.”
“Ok.”
“Hey, do ya know what time it is?”
“Eh…” Sasuke looked into the sky. “Judging by the position of the sun…it’s looks about seven.” He replied.
“Crap…” She looked frustrated, turning to him. “ok, well I have something I need to take care of. I’ll talk to you later about the creepy voice thingy…How’s tonight sound?”
“A-alright.” Sasuke was confused but agreed. “Thanks for the fish…” He muttered as she took hers and walked into the woods.
“Neh Pehblerm.” She retorted, mouth full of food. Sasuke of course didn’t catch a word of it. He was beginning to wonder why she always needed the time…and then constantly hurrying away afterwards.
“Whatever.” He sighed, turning back into his human form and heading back to the camp. “Hmm…I think I’m getting the hang of this morphing thing…”
-----------
“Sasuke?!” Shizu was the first to notice when the boy returned. Everyone grinned and excitedly rushed over to him.
“Sasuke…” Kotori muttered, giving him a tight hug. The boy raised an eye brow at her… since when did she get so…so…
“K-Kotori-Chan…I’m…fine….you’re….crushing me…” He choked.
Kotori let go of him and hit him on the head…hard. “GEEZUS…Do you know how worried I was?!” She placed her hands on her hips and glared at him.
“Um…” Sasuke…didn’t know how to reply. Even though she technically wasn’t an Uchiha…she seems to have picked up the trademark death glare. “Hey…has Hikari showed up yet?” He asked.
“I think she’s sleeping in the tent…she was dead tired when she got here…” Kotori retorted. “Speaking of which you need to get sleep too, you were up as late as she was. “ She pointed to the tent. Sasuke stared at her. “Go now…” she demanded.
“Ok, ok…” He muttered. The boy really was tired even if he didn’t know it. He quietly unzipped the entrance, expecting a sleeping Kunoichi to be in it. He instead found her sitting up and sketching something in a notebook. Hikari jumped when she noticed him, clambering to hide the book and blushing. Sasuke sat next to her and raised an eyebrow. “I didn’t know you drew.”
“Yeah…well, it’s not like I’m good at it.” Her eyes glanced at the sketchbook under her sleeping bag.
“Can I see it?” He pointed to it and she blushed even more. “Eh…uh, I-I…”
“Uh, never mind.” He said smirking. “I mean…if you have something to hide…it’s fine.” He teased, getting all in her face, not knowing that she really did have something to hide…and really big something.
